108 Services a Central Government Initiative ?

From Hame Dekhna hai Ham Dekhenge to Hamne Kiya , Ham logon ne Banaya...
a rhetoric just to fool the people..

I had in my previous blog tried to expose congress lie that 108 Service is a central government initiative. The contents for this blog was passed on to me by Mr.Vikranth Reddy Kalva (@VikranthKalva),  his personal experience on how the whole concept got adopted by Andhra Pradesh government under YSR.

I would again re-iterate If at all 108 Service was a Central Government Initiative , Bihar Govt would too have had 108 as number to be called for emergencies. The emergency number in the state of Bihar is 102 with a similar PPP model . For more info you can click on Bihar PPP model

Even before the MOU with EMRI got signed the Government of Andhra Pradesh had purchased 75 Ambulances under Mother and Child Welfare scheme on their own and had plans to buy more under the scheme. They purchased  75 number of Tata Sumo Vehicles under mother and child welfare scheme. The whole idea failed as it was supposed to be run by local NGO's but none came forward to manage the services .

No one knows why there was rush to buy 75 Ambulances without having any infrastructure to run a life saving service or it was pure short sightedness of then Commissioner of Family Welfare.

The commissioner having funds to buy 500 Ambulances was desperately searching for some alternate solution as a face saver. He was informed about Ramalinga Raju's idea and held discussions with the CEO of EMRI to develop a PPP model to be implemented in Andhra Pradesh .

If i am correct EMRI was running 108 services as pilot project before getting funds from Andhra Pradesh Government.

The Congress government under YSR thought that it was a brilliant initiative and the idea was coined by then Commissioner of Family Welfare. As congress was running the state Govt, it owned up the whole project as their child. They later planted Rajiv Gandhi's photograph purely to get political mileage and reap election benefit.

Each and every employee of EMRI is first trained on Social Service, Importance of saving a Life. The political color given to such a marvelous initiative actually had killed the enthusiasm of field staff . They were almost like at the mercy of the local political leaders in AP.

Though the whole idea is at the mercy of the political class would say kudos to the chief ministers of those states who implemented such life saving free service for its people.

We all should salute the staff of EMRI 108 team who work relentlessly running around 24/7 to save a LIFE. Thanks Team EMRI - 108.

A final Blow to Modi ?? :)

“Gujarat Kisne Banaya Hamne” “India Kisne Banaya mere family ne Banaya” ???
The AP initiative has the Image of Shri Rajiv Gandhi
I am just amazed the way Pappu trying to draw crowds by calling “Jo bhi Bana jahan Bhi Bana Hamne Banaya”.

His speeches talk about the contributions made by his father, Grandmother and Great Grandfathers. And it was real fun to see his contribution by giving Indians Rupee 3 /- KG “Aloo ka funda”.

And I am ashamed of the congresses whose spineless leaders approve and bat for Pappu’s illogical rhetoric, forgetting the contributions of other congressmen who laid their life for Bharat.

As aptly said By Shri Narendra Modi “Homework karna chahiye tha”, everything what congresses star campaigners spoke about got punctured straight away.

I was shocked when I noticed a week ago in one of the Television Commercial portraying 108 services being brought by Congress in Gujarat,  It was re-iterated by one of the star campaigner too. I could relate to “EMRI 108” as one of the Vendor Partner during their launch in Gujarat and can say Homework should have been done.

108 Services from EMRI (Emergency Management Research Institute)

The center was started to provide free emergency service with Public Private Partnership model having access to Police, Medical and Fire with just a single number. The Number was made toll free accessible from landline and mobile phones for all emergencies. The whole idea was the brain child of the Satyam Computers Ramalinga Raju and was one of his pet projects.

The MOU was signed between EMRI and Andhra Pradesh Government in the Month of April 2005 and one of its kind free services in India was started on 15 August 2005. If I am right the EMRI team told me that Ramalinga Raju wanted to create a successful model in the state of AP and then approach other states for partnership. He wanted to create 911 kind of model for India, approached central government to make it mandatory across all the states.

Gujarat 108 Ambulance
And during one of my interaction the EMRI team told me about Gujarat and the kind of feedback I got from them about Narendra Modi was my first step towards knowing NaMo.  I was enthused when the EMRI team told that the launch in Gujarat will happen soon, the team said their presentation to the Chief Minister of Gujarat was just brilliant. The CM not only praised the project but also ensured the service be implemented in Gujarat at the earliest.

The EMRI team did not expect the clearances would be given so fast and the service has to be launched in just four months. The CM promised and ensured all the help required to launch the project on time. The Launch Happened on 29th of August 2007.

Tamil Nadu 108 Ambulance

Ab Bolo Bhaiyya EMRI kisne Banaya Ramalinga Raju Ne Banaya :) , Gujarat Ma EMRI 108 kisne Launch Kiya Pappu Bhaiya ne Ya Ben ne Ya Congress ne ? Is it a Central Government scheme? Why Delhi does not have one of its kind “EMRI 108 services” for people of a Congress Ruled State. Why the Central Government still not made it mandatory for the states to implement the project?

It’s because EMRI partners with the state Governments and not with central government, it’s purely a state government’s prerogative to implement it or not. It's an marvelous initiative, The Central Government should be make mandatory for all the states to implement it and 108 should be made national emergency number in the lines of 911.

Hamam Me Sab Nange- My take on Indian Television Panelists

Talk shows are now about loudmouths and quips.TV debates have become a joke. I watch them for sheer entertainment, fun and for unwinding myself after hard day at  work. But occasionally, I feel like throwing stones at my television set whenever mainstream media tries to play hanky panky on some serious national issues but then realize it’s my hard earned money. Haha

Here is my take on some of the panelists who make regular appearances on various news channels

Suhel Seth
Love him or hate him but you can’t ignore him and he happens to be Arnab's favorite TV panelist.

Harish Salve
I always wonder why he has to make faces all the time on air-he reminds me of my uncle who use to make faces in front of mirror. Mr Salve seems to be only interested in two things- 1. His own lucrative legal practice 2. His friends in Congress ala kaman.....country gaya tel lene

Dushyant Dave
Barkhas all weather friend and counter narrative specialist.hahaha. I never knew who this chap was until few years ago. He is always there to kill any good movement..

Renuka Chowdhary
I simply love her antics. I fell off my chair laughing when she addressed some panelist as uncle on a live show. A pure entertainer and a Dabang congresswoman--headless heavyweight LOL. Appears to create flutter among the panelists with her non-stop illogical noise pollution.

Teesta Setalvad
Always appears high on national television. if this lady can get Padmashree, I see no reason why I should not get Bharat Ratna-after all I'm also the bacha of this soil

Sanjay Kaul

Nice chap with some ukeyish accent.....speaks to the point and quite convincing

Manish Tiwary
Gol mol ke bol as if he puts couple of Tirupathi Laddus in his mouth every time just before he comes on news hour. He was all guns blazing before Annas episode. He looks pretty battered nowadays-effect of Anna Dasha

Sanjay Jha
I call him KRK(Kamal Rashid Khan) of Television News Channels .Simply wonder why he is all over the place defending the indefensible – Doubt if Rahul Gandhi even knows him? He annoys me with his frequent nods and Mundi shaking whenever he agrees to views of other panelist.

Shekhar Gupta
Admit I used to like him 3-4 yrs ago but he is another DD news type journo speaking for the govt all the time.He is the part of the gang that is out to destroy the credibility of IAC movement
I never thought he could stoop so low as he did in one of NDTV debates anchored by his friend Pranoy Roy. That particular debate to me was a set up to corner poor Arvind Kejriwal who perhaps went to NDTV studios in good faith. The gang used Narayan Murthy as a guinea pig to rally support and lend credence to their arguments .How do you explain such a debate happening out of nowhere. If Dr Roy thought getting Narayan Murthy to their side would drive young people and intellectuals away from the movement, he failed miserably. What a Shame.........His spoken English is again a suspect and he often goes blank and then appears totally incoherent. I suggest he takes 2 tablets of Himalaya Mentat everyday..haha

Tavleen Singh
She is like one kisiyani billi kambha noche types.People like her are angry because they are fast getting irrelevant in the age of social media.Madamji Desh ka aam aadmi jag gaya hai.He can see things as they are.
Shankar Singh Thakur
Lacks debating skill for sure-no new ideas

Pranjoy Guha
This man comes to debates quite well prepared. He is quite convincing and full of data and information

Hartosh Singh
Male version of Shoma Choudhary

Vinod Mehta
He is a chameleon and will change sides soon after the commercial break...he plays safe and is a purana wine

Shabnam Hashmi
She just cannot think beyond Modi, Anna and RSS. She seems to be desperate for fame and wants to hog all the limelight when it comes to any discussion on Modi. This woman is always looking for negative agendas to run her dukan. If she has her way she will start a campaign for those died in riots of 1947. Someone needs to tell her- logo ko joidya and not todiye. These people would never want harmony in the society. She is now busy leading Mombatti brigade for the release of Iranian Spy Kazmi. Why doesn’t Shabnam Aunty ever protest for Kashmiri pandits..

Vinod Sharma
He has been defending the defenseless far too long now. Whenever he runs out of his defenses in the midst of a debate, he starts getting personal. I call him a Kaiyan Aadmi -perfect Sharmaji next door haha

Ravi Shankar Prasad
Love him for his straight talk and no nonsense attitude

Mukul Sinha
Me too in the anti modi race activist. If he talks in court like the way he talks on TV,anti Modi camp will lose all their cases against Modi.LOL....somebody seriously needs to check his % in 10th, 12th and LLB examinations...hahahaha

Rajiv Pratap Rudy
He always gets to a good start but loses focus midway the discussion...he is like Pathan-One over, champion and next over lame duck

Debonair as ever and makes sense every time he speaks. I was doubly impressed when he pointed out that there is a law in this country that requires some license in order to hire house maid .This was in context of a debate on Anna Movement and to drive a point that people need to be careful before raising voices against corruption. This govt is capable of harassing people even on the slightest pretext. ----can get caught on technical grounds

Mahesh Bhatt

This gentleman can’t keep things simple. He likes to talk abstract-thanks to his association with Anti Guru UG Krishnamurthy and Osho. One can understand if he is invited to talk on subjects such as Porn addiction, Sex in Movies and Junglee Jawani but  on issues like Corruption and black monies..Kya Majak hai. He is the part of the gang that is opposing both Anna and Modi.

Rahul Navrekar

Pity this guy who has to keep adjusting to Sena Supremos changing position on various national issues. Otherwise he is ok

Rahul Eshwaran

Likeable and clever guy

Pravin Swami

Too good

Mahrruf
-
Defence Analyst@Times Now poor chap who has to bear constant interjection from his boss Arnab.... subject wise very good

Kancha Illaya

He is one  of Barkhas favorite after Dushyant Dave and so called counter narrative specialist. Hindus have moved on but these gentlemen still seem to live in 1947 Black & White Era. For him everything is a Brahmin Conspiracy call him a chota bhai of behan Mayawati

Shaina NC

Dont know why BJP made her a spokesperson

Lord Meghnad Desai

Quite annoying to see him talking about all and sundry.....

Shahid Siddiqui

Pleasant gentleman but again indulges in divisive politics

Social Media: The New house of Commons (Aam Aaadmi ka darbar)

Inspired by @KanchanGupta sirs tweet “Much 'abuse' you see on Twitter is directly proportionate to media fraudulence. Folks had no platform. They now have one to give it back”.
The Common Man first came to life through RK Laxman’s satirical cartoons in The Times of India. The satirical toon showed life of a common man and our Aam Aadmi jhatakse got connected cartoon life to his real life for LOL.  There was no way forward. The “Aam Aadmi did not have his say in the day-to-day governance of the country. He was a mere voter, would vote a government to power based on the reporting in the main stream media (MSM). He could raise his voice once in five years using his veto power when slogans like Hamara Haath Aam Aaadmi ke saath erupts.
The Indian voted the government paid his taxes which the employer deducts automatically every month, He had no means or way to know where his tax money goes; what actually happens to his hard earned money which he pays towards taxes. He used to just toil whole day to take care of his family (huge joint families). At the end of the day laughs at self by looking at RK Laxmans satirical cartoons. He was a novice till the next general elections / state elections. Then we saw a Mumbai Niwasi filled with anger, played by Naseeruddin Shah in the movie “A Wednesday”. I will call it as first-of-its-kind outburst of Common Man shown on cinema. The movie was received well from Indian audiences as our nation is afflicted with the dirtiest disease called terrorism. The movie showed him blowing up terrorists who were given a kind of asylum by the government in Indian jails. (Biriyani Khao Khud Jaan Jao J)
RK Laxman’s satirical toons or A Wednesday did impact the Indian but he remained a silent spectator and continued seeing at the monologues of the available bunch of Anchors who by now started to think Ham Bhagwan hai. At the first place we did not have a platform to raise his issues or never knew what issues to be raised for the betterment of the society, He was also duty bound towards his family. I would rather say he never got time to raise a voice. He felt his duty as an Indian was to vote in or vote out a government and which he continued for decades. He kept voting for or against any government mostly depended on the kind of news he consumed through few irritating anchors of news channels.

The citizens did have a platform called “Letters to the editors” which used to get published with the approval from the editors of the news papers and most of the unpublished goes to the dust bins. I have been a media seller and have seen many of them getting space in the dust bin. The MSM did try to get the citizens involved but again what goes in the news purely depends on the so called Bhagwans approval. Few MSM started initiative to involve the aam aadmi (Citizen Journalist types) but it reminded me of “letters to the editor” on television. It did reveal few corrupt people using sting as tool but with its censor cap on always like what to telecast or how much of it to telecast.

Then came the era of technology / computerization made a huge impact in the day today affairs globally reducing human efforts, India too adapted to the new evolving technologies to smooth-en the day to day administration. As the changeover was on a very fast pace, The human took some time to understand the entire technological aspects of business / administration. He kept wondering about the pace in the changeover, he voted out a government during the changing phase. He gave another term to the existing government as he still believed the MSM which was still forcing him consume the rationed news. MSM kept on feeding him with the stings using his expertise and intelligence; showed what to show and blacked out what they don’t want to show.

The era of Internet changed it all for the we the people of India; initially the common man was enjoying the Internet catching up with friends who lived far away. It was fun for him to see faces of his friends using video conference. He kept screaming YAHOOO started FACEBOOKING and would tweet for fun.  As the nation progressed our man who by now was evolved internet geek and his hunger to extract information started gaining momentum through source points like government websites etc, he started understanding the day today administration of the government. He could not stop himself from being a just a mute spectator to the Government scams which started unearthing. Our man who was then a believer of MSM expected the truth to flow but his expectations went down the drains.

This is my man who by now evolved into a serious gatherer of Information like @KiranKS had started taking pot shots at MSM like a site by Aam Aadmi @mediacrooks takes the MSM head on “Indian Media Watch.... Crooks and Liars in the Indian media are the greatest danger to our democracy. Bias, outright lies, paid news, plagiarism and political leanings characterize much of our media” and started writing about today’s national scenarios like @centerofright India's GDP to grow by 6.9% says IMF below 7% . TCM who got hooked on the Internet for fun turned serious nation builders. Hash # tags started to appear for everything new related to national interests. The hash tag like #AMS proved everyone that Social media is the new power house. The MSM which kept #AMS issue under wraps for more than week was forced to take it live on television though they presented the outburst of social media as irresponsible. The TCM started evolving more to have looked at legal course of action against something which he felt is not right like @surnell tweeted "Decided to send out legal notices to all these parties involved. Spoke to legal advisors Sir ". This was in regard to the demolition of Chikkajala fort, a historical part of Benglauru.

As rightly said by Kanchan da “Folks had no platform” to show their share of voice and social media being a free for all platform the common mans outburst was electrifying with abuses. Anything during infancy is cried out loud and things do simmer down slowly and there would be an evolved Aam Aadmi who would take on the MSM in a smarter way if media fraudulence continued.
