Recipe for Puliyodharai / Pulikachal - My Granny Style Tamarind Rice

Ingredients for Puliyodharai / Pulikachal  - Raj Style (Make it the easy way)

Red Chillies (Round One's) 8-10 , Coriander powder , Red Chilli Powder , Sambhar Powder ( Available One),  Little of Pepper Powder, Turmeric , Little of Methi, Little of Groundnuts , Little of Chana Dal, Little of Tuar Dal , Curry Leaves, Little of White Sesame Seeds ( If you roast and grind? ) , Black Tamarind , Very Little of Gur (Jaggery) Gingerly Oil , Hing ,  Salt .

My twist , I add Onion, Tomato my granny used to make it without onion / tomato  :)

Chop Onion tomato nicely , wash Red Chilies, Curry Leaves. Soak Tamarind in water for Half hour.

Heat Good amount of Gingerly Oil in pan add  , Add Cumins , Add Onion / Garlic and Fry it till its golden. Ensure Saunf /Cumin does not burn. Add finely chopped tomato & coriander leaves fry it nicely add salt to taste. Cook it till you see oil out.

Add Marinated Chilies and cook for 5 minutes . Add Red Chilli Powder , Coriander powder , chilli powder ( if you want spicy add more ) let it cook for 10 min. You would see greenish orange gravy....

The last step is to add the remaining curd ( 200 Gms) beat it nicely and add it cook for 5 minutes in low heat... I used curd / tomato instead of tamarind as curd will give a creamy look.

Recently saw  a post that went viral on FB/Twitter , It was about Mateen Sahab who belongs to Latur has been providing water from his borewell to so many  affected people in the draught hit region.  I am sure the news is true because none of the main stream media ever showed this great soul & yes he is Muslim.  

This is Md. Abdul Mateen from Latur. He distributes 8000-10000 litres of free water every day to 150-200 households from his bore well to the drought affected people.

Anyone knows why Mateen  Sahab got no space in the main stream Media ? Truly Majority of us won’t care about it; Majority won’t care to know who this great soul (Mateen Sahab) is but every one knows about Akhlaq #Dadri 

Remember guys the media is cruel acts as per the direction of their masters what to show. What not to show, Who to blame, whom not to blame. I have been observing morons in the media for long time now & being a Modi #Bhakt I have kept a close watch on the media , God even won’t know when they will twist. J

No one can ever forget his face and Congress is using his face even now in the ongoing Assam elections. After his face being misused by the media he had to request them not to use his face anymore & had to plead again to the congress party. 

Hyderabad Joke - Hyderabadi slaang

Wanted to share a pretty old joke that was shared when i had a hotmail account LOL ..Enjoy this..it is really funny if u know Hyderabadi slaang.

Kya sha! ek jokan bajreenso padleko thume enzoy karo bai. 

In Hyderabad we have our own little Johnny. His name is Chotu. His father is ambitious to educate Chotu. Chotu goes to school located in Tappachaputra. Its principal is educated in Urdu high school and claims that he passed tenth class!


There is a school inspection the next day and the conversation is as follows :


Teacher: Kal inispector ayinga. Kochchanaa (questions) puchinga. Sab achchaa padkey aau. Koi galath answer deengaa naa tho main uske pairaan thodtoon.

Chotu: Iski maakki. Kyun aara inispector? Kaam nai hai usku? Kya kochchanaa puchta
kathey?

Teacher: Abey tereku kaiku re, tu kal school aanaaich nai. Tu tera moo khola
to gaaliaan nikaltay. Tereku main absent nai daalthaun. Ghar pe baithkey
gotiyaan khel. Tu school aayingaa to inispector ke saamney mere izzat
ki biryaani karke khaaingaa tu.

So our Chotu is excited, goes home and tells his father that he is not going
to school the next day.

Father: Yeah kyaa hai..ischool hai paan dabba hai? Gaand pay maartoon saale tu ischool nai gaya to.

Chotu: Arey Bava, mera teacher bola nakko aao bolke.

Father: Usku akhal hai! Begum suno! Chotu ischool nai jayinga kathey kal. Agar
ino ischool nai gaya to kaise padhinga? Chotu, agar tu kal ischool nahin gaya
naa, tere haathan pairaan thod daaltaun.

So Chotu cries and finally agrees to go to school. Next day at ischool,

Teacher is very upset to see Chotu back:

Teacher: Arey teri maakki. Nakko aao bole to bhi kyun aaya re?

Chotu: Mera bava gaand phodtaon bola ischool nai gaya to.

Teacher: offo? Tera bava bola? Theek hai chal. Last bench pe baith aur inispector aya to chup jaa. Dikhnaich nai. Kuch bhi gadbad karinga naa meri noukri gaand lag jayingi.

So Chotu goes to sit in the last bench hiding behind a tall guy. Inspector comes
for the visit.

Inspector: Adaab.

Teacher: Adaab saab. Bachen acha padrain saab. Kochchanaa puchey to answeraan yun bolte


Inspector: Abaa? Offo! Ithney kilever(clever) hai aapke bachchey? Achchaa, ek
bahuth easy sawaal - Hamarey body mein sab se nazook cheez kaun si hai?

Teacher: Arey Imtiyaz tu bata rey!


Imtiyaz: Saab, Kaleja saab..


Inspector: Aisa! ...... woh kyun?

Imtiyaz: Saab, kaleja hai to sab kuch hota. Agar woh gaya naa, kuch bhi nahin hota
saab.

Inspector: Abaa, kya tez potta hai rey! Aur koi?

Teacher: Arey Akram, tu bata re.

Akram: Saab bheja saab. Bhejey ku khuch bhi hua to kuch yaad nahin rehta saab. Haathaan pairaan kaam nai karthey,iscooter ku kick bhi nai maar sakthey saab.


Inspector: Abey Teacher, kya kya padaaraa re inku tu. Chutiye ke jaiseich
answeraan bolrai naa!!

In the meantime Chotu is trying very hard to hide but Inspector sees him. He thinks Chotu is hiding because he does not know the answer.


Inspector: Woh last bench pe yun jhuk ke baithaa naa woh pottey ka naam kya hai?

Teacher: kaun saab? .......Woh! (iski bhain ku, kaiku dikhaa re tu) Woh Chotu hai
saab.

Inspector: Chotu? Ye kya naam hai? Kahan-kahan se lagaathey re bhai naamaan! Chotu, woh lambu ke peechchey kaiku chchup raa tu?

Chotu: Saab main moo khola to teacher maaringi saab. 

Inspector: Tereku yaa mereku??

Teacher: Arey kya baath kar reh saab, main kaiku maarthaum aapku. Ye potta ekdam badmaash hai saab, jhoot bolraa. Abey Chotu, answer maloom hain to bol nai tho khaamoosh baith jaa
mere baap tere pau padthaum.


Chotu: Saab answer Gaand hai saab.

Teacher: Allah!! Ino moo khola to meri gaand lag gayi re!!!


Inspector: Abey kyaa to bhi bolra re! Sharam kar badon ke saamney aisaich baathaan karthey! Yeich sikhaaye tumhaarey amma-bavaa? Gaand kahaan kaa answer hai re?

Chotu: Hau saab, gaand ich sabse naazook cheez hai. Kaiku boletho wahaan pe dilli
mein baamb phata....Yahan Hydrabad mein apni gaand phat thi....Yahaan old city mein gadbadaan shuru hothey....wahaan new city mein sabki gaand phat thi gadbadaan wahaan phailtey kyaaki bolkey. Uttaa kyoon saab,main yeh answer bolraun naa, mere teacher ki
gaand phatrai dekho!

" More the options more are the complications " ~ RS

Remember those college days when we used to get just 2 good shirts, 2 good trousers a year and few T's and 2 Jeans to ragdofy the whole year.......... and yes chappals to the college . Life was easy, simpler and happier 

Today its like should i wear ths one or wear the other one or something else too many options and complications increasing our stress levels just to wear clothes.. Clothes for every occasion from getting up till you retire to bed  . Oh yeah after your clothes the time is for the shoe would not match the trouser or the occasion , matching shoes complication increases with the increased number of footwear options.

So Now you ready to go out its time the car should match the purpose have options created here also ............. 

And the best thing to happen in our life is that now people too have become options changed according to the requirement ... Family Get together Wife or the hubby.... Partying GF or BF , Long Drives the Audi guy or the Hummer Girl and blah blah blah !

After getting all the above End of the day we still shout loud at self " I want to be Happy"

Remember Its in our Hand to make Life Beautiful .......... The Simpler we are the Happier is our surrounding !

Ant And the Grasshopper

 

Original Story

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and laying up supplies for the winter. The Grasshopper thinks the Ant is a fool and laughs dances plays the summer away. Come winter, the Ant is warm and well fed. The Grasshopper has no food or shelter so he dies out in the cold.

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and laying up supplies for the winter. The Grasshopper thinks the Ant's a fool and laughs dances plays the summer away. Come winter, the shivering Grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the Ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

NDTV, BBC, CNN show up to provide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

The World is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be that this poor Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so? Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's house. Medha Patkar goes on a fast along with other Grasshoppers demanding that Grasshoppers be relocated to warmer climates during winter . Mayawati states this as 'injustice' done on Minorities. Amnesty International and Koffi Annan criticize the Indian Government fornot upholding the fundamental rights of the Grasshopper.

The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the Grasshopper (many promising Heaven & Everlasting Peace for prompt support as against the wrath of God for non-compliance). Opposition MPs stage a walkout. Trinamool Congress call for 'Bengal Bandh' in West Bengal. CPM in Kerala demanding a Judicial Enquiry and immediately passes a law preventing Ants from working hard in the heat so as to bring about equality of poverty among Ants and Grasshoppers. Adhir Chowdhury allocates one free coach to Grasshoppers on all Indian Railway Trains, aptly named as the 'Grasshopper Rath'.

Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the 'Prevention of Terrorism Against Grasshoppers Act' [POTAGA] , with effect from the beginning of the winter.

Arjun Singh makes 'Special Reservation' for Grasshoppers in Educational Institutions in Government Services.

The Ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, it's home is confiscated by the Government and handed over to the Grasshopper in a ceremony covered by NDTV, BBC, CNN.

Arundhati Roy calls it 'A Triumph of Justice'. Mamata calls it 'Socialistic Justice'. CPM calls it the 'Revolutionary Resurgence of the Downtrodden' Koffi Annan invites the Grasshopper to address the UN General Assembly.

Many years later...

The Ant has since migrated to the US and set up a multi-billion dollar company in Silicon Valley,

100s of Grasshoppers still die of starvation despite special privileges somewhere in India ,

........................................................................AND

As a result of losing lot of hard working Ants and feeding the grasshoppers, India is still a developing country...!!
